The Thrakis Mills photovoltaic system, with a total capacity of 1.2 MW, has successfully completed its first year of operation. Installed at the company’s facilities in Alexandroupolis, the system covers a total area of 13,000 m².
During its first year, the system generated 1,600 MWh of clean, renewable energy, making a significant contribution to reducing the company’s environmental footprint. This energy production corresponds to the avoidance of approximately 800 tons of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions.
The €1 million investment is part of the company’s broader sustainability and responsible business strategy, reaffirming our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and promoting a more sustainable future.
